Megan Humphrey is heading into her 9th year of teaching. She holds an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood and a Master’s in Applied Learning and Instruction from USC Upstate. Megan’s love of education began in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, where her parents were actively involved. They taught her that education is more than academics—it is also spiritual. After adopting her son, Megan felt a clear calling from God to teach in a new way. Upon attending St. Michael Catholic Church with her husband and his family, she knew it was time to share her faith through the gift of teaching. One of Megan’s greatest strengths as an educator is her ability to form meaningful connections with her students and their families throughout the year. She and her husband have been married for five years and have a one-year-old son. Outside the classroom, Megan enjoys hiking and relaxing with a good book.
