We at Saint Michael know the learning opportunities and growth possible through extracurriculars! As such, SMCS offers students a variety of clubs and activities from which to choose to encourage and foster their interests and talents.
Currently, SMCS offers the following clubs and activities listed below, but we are always looking to grow and expand! Our Current Clubs & Activities
Open from PK – 3rd grade
- Soccer Shots: Learn all about the sport of soccer through this specific Lower School soccer program run through Belmont Abbey College
Open to 3rd year – 8th year
- Archery Club: Learn all about the sport of archery with regular shooting practice
- Chess Club: Learn all about chess and challenge your peers in matches
- Children’s Choir: Strengthen your singing skills, perform at daily Mass, & perform an act of devotion to our Lord
- Honor Choir: Only available to Children’s Choir members who audition & are accepted
- Community Service Club: Model the virtues of charity, goodness, & selflessness by giving back to others & our broader community with regular field trips, events, & initiatives to help aid the community
- Golf Club: Learn all about the sport of golf with regular practice in putting
- Saint Michael Handmaids: Model the virtues of steadfastness, loyalty, & responsibility in performing an act of devotion to our Lord through keeping the Church stocked, supplied, & serviced
Open to 4th year – 8th year
- Safety Patrol: Keep the Saint Michael campus safe & protected through directing traffic & aiding younger students in daily dismissal
