Dawn Phillips has been married to her husband Paul for the past 35 years, with 5 children she homeschooled for 23 years. After growing up in Minnesota, Dawn moved to Colorado when she was fifteen. She moved to Gilbert, Arizona with her husband and then 3 children in 2004 before moving to Cheyenne, WY with her husband and five children in 2009. Her family has lived in North Carolina since 2017. She now has 4 grandchildren.

She loves teaching at Saint Michael and inspiring students to grow in their education and their Faiths.

She is a member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society. She has a particular devotion to St. John of the Cross.
