Sandy Van Nosdall is the teacher in PK4. Prior to Saint Michael, Mrs. Van Nosdall earned her certification in teaching preschool. She has taught preschool for 10 years, along with working different roles in her previous parish/school in the Diocese of Raleigh. She knew teaching was her calling because she loves to see the "Aha" moment when a child's eyes light up because they understand something new or try something new for the first time. Mrs. Van Nosdall believes that her greatest attribute in teaching is her enthusiasm teaching the PK4 how much Jesus and the Blessed Mother love them.

Mrs. Van Nosdall has been married for 33 years and has two sons. Her oldest son is in the Air Force and is married with 2 daughters. Her youngest son is studying for the priesthood for the Diocese of Charlotte.
