This is Mrs. Gomes' first school year teaching at Saint Michael Catholic School, though her sons have attended as students for multiple years. She is the science instructor for Upper School.

​Prior to Saint Michael, Mrs. Gomes homeschooled her sons and taught science for 5 years in California. She was drawn to teaching because of her love for learning and believes that her greatest attribute in teaching is her adaptability to change. 

 

Mrs. Gomes earned her Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Science at California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo California. She earned her teaching credential at Long Beach State University in California.

Mrs. Gomes was raised Catholic and is a parishioner at St. Michael.

In her free time, Mrs. Gomes likes to read, drink coffee, and complete jigsaw puzzles.
