FIFTH YEAR

Fifth Year is the last grade in our Lower School before progressing onto our Upper School. This means ensuring students are ready academically, spiritually, and holistically to enter into a new (but still familiar) world of learning!

Mrs. Catherine Brandolini

Miss Brandolini has spent the last eight years at a leading classical charter school in Texas, serving in a variety of teaching and administrative roles.  As a lover of both classical education and Catholic education, she recognizes and respects the long tradition of great thinkers who have gone before us.  She believes that the end of education is to lead students to goodness, both intellectual and moral, and to form students to think deep thoughts, to love noble things, and to live life well.

Miss Brandolini graduated from Belmont Abbey College with a B.A. in English and a minor in Political Philosophy. She studied at the graduate-level at the University of Dallas, earning a Certificate of Classical Learning.

Miss Brandolini was raised Catholic and is excited to return home to North Carolina and to Saint Michael Parish.

In her free time, Miss Brandolini enjoys reading fiction, writing poetry, crafting in the fiber arts (knitting, crocheting, sewing, and embroidery), playing board games, and spending time with family.
